Leadership Archetype Quest

Instructions: Use storytelling, visualization, and the above theory to build your unique leadership archetype.

Step 1: Explore the Seven Archetypes

Based on Parts 2 & 3, imagine these as symbolic characters:

  1. The Visionary (Transformational Leader) – Sees beyond the present and inspires others into possibility.
  2. The Strategist (Transactional Leader) – Practical, structured, sharp; a master of focus and execution.
  3. The Healer (Servant Leader) – Leads through compassion, service, and deep emotional intelligence.
  4. The Sage (Democratic Leader) – A wisdom-sharer who believes in collective power and dialogue.
  5. The Commander (Autocratic Leader) – Decisive, bold, directive; thrives in crisis and clarity.
  6. The Dreamweaver (Lesse-faire Leader) – Creates space and freedom for others to lead themselves; trusts in natural flow, empowers autonomy.
  7. The Alchemist (Mixed) – Combines elements from multiple styles, constantly evolving.

Step 2: Create Your Archetype Identity

Choose (or blend) your leadership archetype(s), then complete a creative profile:

  • Name of your archetype (e.g., The Fierce Visionary)
  • Core values
  • Strengths
  • Challenges or β€œshadow side”
  • A leadership motto or mantra
  • A fictional or real woman who embodies this archetype

Step 3: Make it Visual

Bring your archetype to life through one of the following:

  • Create a digital moodboard (e.g., in Canva, Pinterest) with images, colors, and quotes.
  • Draw or collage a symbol or β€œtotem” that represents your leadership energy.

Write a 500-word narrative where your archetype faces a leadership challenge. Use elements from your real life (e.g., workplace, activism, family). Show how she uses her traits to respond.
