You have gone through the entire process of preparing and implementing advocacy activities for gender equality in the company/organisation where you work or in the environment in which you operate.
Develop an advocacy campaign to implement some gender equality solution in your community/organisation/business/department.
Steps:
- ✅ Choose one issue that you would like to see implemented that you cannot implement yourself.
- ✅ Think about who can support the implementation of this solution, what are those groups of institutions/organisations/individuals who have influence over the implementation of this solution, why would they support you?
- ✅ Prepare a short appeal for support addressed to one of these groups that you consider key.
- ✅ Develop a strategy for reaching the relevant group of people/entities with your appeal.
- ✅ Implement your strategy to gain support and describe what reflections you have from your actions – what worked and what is worth changing.
